Our Nationally Certified Personal Trainers have taken the additional steps to ensure that they are keeping up with the latest education as it pertains to programming, appropriate exercise, and client care.

Dawn Evans

Facility Manager | Personal Trainer

Dawn Evans is a graduate of Alverno College holding a degree in Professional Communication and Management. She was introduced into fitness in 2014 and has enjoyed learning and growing since. She is a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine where she also studied and completed their Exercise is Medicine certification. She continues to develop her skills and is currently pursing a certification in Corrective Exercise through the NASM. She loves to focus on the abilities of the individuals she is working with to establish attainable and maintainable goals. Dawn lives in Negaunee with her husband, Mark, and her son, Aiden. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, golfing, snowshoeing, and spending time with her family.

Bron Harmon

Personal Trainer

Bron Harmon is a graduate of Asbury University where she holds a degree in Arts, Biology, and Chemistry. She completed a Master’s Degree in Biology from Northern Michigan University, Exercise Physiology and Exercise is Medicine certifications with the American College of Sports Medicine, and pursues continuing education with emphasis in human physiology, injury prevention, nutrition, and topics directly pertaining to her current clients. Her goal is to engage her clients to encourage, inspire, and empower them to embrace habits that improve their overall wellness and to find the joy in making positive changes for themselves. Bron and her husband, Scott, love to hike with their pup, bike, and kayak in the beautiful Upper Peninsula while encouraging their grown kids to pursue their dreams and goals.

Caro Els

Sports Performance | Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

Caro Els is a Namibian native and a graduate of Northern Michigan University holding a Masters Degree in Exercise Science. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has been working as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach at Northern Michigan University since 2020. She firmly grounds her training approach with her academic background in sport science research. She holds a Level 1 certification from the Titleist Performance Institute and is continuing her education by pursuing a certification in Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism as well as obtaining a certification in the Reflexive Performance Reset method. Caro was a collegiate golfer for 5 years and discovered her passion for athletic performance through rehabilitation of a back injury, to playing the best golf of her career. She is busy rediscovering her hobbies after the completion of her Masters degree, but enjoys working out, reading research about working out, cooking and the outdoors with her husband-to-be and two puppies.
